"Secret Islands of Greece" article for Travel+LeisureI had a great time researching this article about Spetses, Monemvassia and Kythera, three islands off of the Peloponnesian coast. Each of them is so different--Spetses is cosmopolitam, Monemvassia is a Byzantine fantasy, and Kythera is laid-back and beachy. It's impossible to pick a favorite. These are great islands to visit if you're driving around the Peloponnese--you can bring your car to Kythera on the ferry, and park on the mainland opposite Spetses and just outside the fortress on Monemvassia.
